This year there are activites on both Saturday and Sunday of the August Bank Holiday Weekend, with The Cobb being lit up with candles on

Our picture shows what we did the first time we tried it in 2000. 4000 candles were lit in a magnificent display. In 2002 and 2005, 5000 candles were lit. This year we aim to light 5000 candles again!

• T-shirts are now available for sale. Buy online or visit local outlets to get one.
• The Quiz Night at the Nags Head Inn raised £330 for Candles On The Cobb. Thank you to everyone who supported it, particularly Marion the quizmaster, and Robin and Debbie Hamon of the Nags Head.
• For the first time this year, an online purchasing facility is available, with payments being processed using PayPal; so you can be sure it is completely safe and secure.
